In the Town of Union, Traditions Resort & Casino’s $150 million casino proposal would call for a new 450,000-square-foot expansion to include two levels of underground parking, a gambling level, restaurants, retail, and an increase in the current hotel size to about 200 rooms. The group believes that they could convert into a casino and be fully operational within 12 months of being awarded a license, but the additional hotel rooms would open in year three of the project. They also have plans to develop an outdoor entertainment venue that could host between 15,000 and 35,000 visitors. The summary for the Lago Resort and Casino in Seneca County says that that casino would have 85 table games and 2,000 slot machines, and could be constructed within 18 months. Their $425 million proposal would expect to begin seeing a revenue of $348 million by the year 2026.
