Two Binghamton residents were arrested for removing rebar poles from a business on Water Street in Binghamton. Around 11:50 last night, members of the Binghamton Police Community Response Team spotted 37-year-old David Kaufman and 34-year-old Amanda Underwood removing the poles from a pile of scrap metal located in a parking lot.
They were stopped a short distance from Water Street and taken into custody and their vehicle was full of scrap metal. Both are set to appear in City Court at a later date.
