A Binghamton woman was arrested in Athens after she attempted to steal hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from the WalMart on Elmira Street. 44-year-old Danielle Mitchell allegedly tried to remove over $400 worth of items from the store but was caught. She was arraigned and sent to the Bradford County jail on $15,000 bail. She has a preliminary hearing scheduled for next Tuesday.
