Eight properties in the City of Binghamton have been scheduled for demolition after the city received a federal grant through the Community Development Block Grant program. The program provides funding for neighborhood revitalization projects throughout the United States, and recently chose Binghamton as a recipient. The Binghamton Board of Contract and Supply used the grant to award a contract for demolition to LCP Group in Vestal.
