For its 40th anniversary, The Kopernik Observatory and Science Center has planned a special fundraiser. The event will be held on September 13th in the Mandela Room at Binghamton University. It will feature a cocktail hour from 6 PM until 7 PM, and dinner at 7 PM. Douglas Wheelock, an astronaut and Windsor native is scheduled to speak afterward. The cost is $50 per person. Reservations are required by August 13th, and can be made by calling (607) 748-3685.
