Motorists traveling on Route 434 between the hours of 7 PM and 7 AM are asked to slow down for road work crews. The construction started yesterday evening and is expected to continue through September 5th. The portion of 434 affected by the road work stretches from the Tioga County line to Main Street in Vestal. Once this portion of road is finished, road crews are expected to move east and continue repaving 434 from Main Street in Vestal to the Binghamton line. The next portion of construction will be done strictly at night.
