A Towanda woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after a one-vehicle accident. Police were called to Memorial Hospital in Towanda after hospital staff viewed the accident as suspicious. 30-year-old Crystal Hubbard allegedly drove without a license, and crossed the center line before crashing her vehicle. After several field sobriety tests, police suspected Hubbard of being intoxicated. A blood test later confirmed that Hubbard had a BAC level above the legal limit.
