An Endicott man was arrested after allegedly making false reports to police. 53-year-old Jeffrey Nielson called police from his home on Lincoln Avenue, and said that his son in law was in the basement of an Endwell home with a gun. Arriving police initially made no contact with the residents at the Endwell home, whereupon authorities called the number which initially contacted them. They found the number to be disconnected. After an investigation, it was found that there was not an issue at the Endwell home, and Nielson later admitted to making the false
