As the deadline to register to vote in next month’s general election quickly approaches, the Tioga Board of Elections reminds residents to turn in their paperwork as soon as possible. The final day to register to vote for the Nov. 4 General Election is next Friday Oct. 10th. The task of registering isn’t as tedious as people think. Between the registration form and the absentee ballot, it should only take about five minutes to complete voter registration. There are many different ways to request registration forms. The forms can be found online, at your local post office, DMV site or by calling your county’s board of elections.
