Following an investigation of a suspicious vehicle located at the Newark Valley NBT Bank parking lot on September 30, the Sheriff Investigators executed a search warrant of the vehicle and recovered several components used for the production of methamphetamine; packaging materials for the distribution of drugs, and; a quantity of heroin. Darryl Leasure of Endicott was arrested in connection with the investigation. Investigators charged Leasure with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Leasure was arraigned in the Town of Owego Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail. Leasure is scheduled to appear in the Town of Newark Valley Court at a later date.
