Officers said on Sept. 25 police arrested John Carter of Endicott for one count of attempted robbery in the second degree. Carter is accused of attempting to forcibly to steal the wallet from a 16-year-old male victim on the 200 block of Washington Avenue. The victim was able to prevent the robbery but suffered scrapes and bruises to his arms during the incident. Police found Carter two blocks from the scene and he was taken into custody by police.
