A decision on what business would get the casino license in the Southern Tier was expected by Mid-November, but that timeline may have changed. The five-member New York State Gaming Facility Location Board met Monday morning in New York City. The board discussed the financial history of the applicants that are vying for the new casino licenses. A review of financial history is believed to be one of the last steps for the committee to make its final recommendations for the Southern Tier regions three bidders. Yesterday, the board said the decision is now expected by the end of the month.
