A high-speed chase that started in the Northern Tier early this morning ended in the city of Elmira. Authorities said Pennsylvania State Police were looking for the driver of a stolen vehicle. Around 2:00 a.m. that driver was leading authorities on a high-speed chase on Interstate 86 westbound. The suspect got off I-86 at the Elmira exit. The vehicle eventually was stopped. Elmira Police said the suspect was arrested and taken by state police back to Pennsylvania. No word yet on what charges the suspect will face in Pennsylvania.
