Commuters who used to travel with the Ride Tioga bus service may not be out of luck just yet. Chemung County’s busing service, C TRAN, is picking up some of Ride Tioga’s former bus routes. One major difference between the former Ride Tioga routes and the new C TRAN routes is that there will be fewer runs between Owego and Waverly. The effectiveness of this new bussing partnership between Tioga and Chemung Counties will be evaluated in mid-2015 to determine how effective this new collaboration is.
