It’s not every day that big time actors make their way to the Southern Tier, then again, Hollywood movies aren’t usually screened here. Yesterday, Hugh Grant visited Binghamton University for a private screening of “The Rewrite” followed by a question and answer session. Grant stars in the film as an Oscar-winning writer that is down on his luck. His character soon moves from Hollywood to the east coast to become a professor at BU. The film was directed by Marc Lawrence, a 1981 graduate of BU. The screening was held at the Anderson Center in front of a sold out crowd of 1,200 people.
