Pacemaker Steel & Piping will break ground this year on an expansion to their facility in Johnson City. The Johnson City Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to approve the construction of a 10,000-square-foot addition along Wells Avenue, that will cost 1.1 million dollars and will house Pacemaker’s plate-cutting operations. Pacemaker currently employs 25 workers at its North Floral Avenue location, and will be growing their team as well. Officials hope to see construction begin this summer, and be completed by the end of 2015.
