A Johnson City man has been arrested on burglary charges following an investigation. David Hopkins was arrested on counts of criminal possession of stolen property and burglary in the second degree. Authorities were originally called to an apartment complex on Park Street when one resident reported that his television had been stolen. After canvassing the building, authorities found the stolen TV in another tenant’s apartment. Upon further questioning it was discovered that the television had been sold to the tenant by Hopkins. Hopkins was arraigned in the Town of Union Court and sent to the Broome County Jail.
