Police have released information on the man who locked himself in a bathroom at Planned Parenthood in Ithaca yesterday morning. 32-year-old Adam Smith allegedly locked himself in a bathroom before beginning to crawl through the air vents of Planned Parenthood. During this endeavor, Smith allegedly fell through the ceiling tiles into a hallway, before locking himself in a nearby office. Smith also allegedly tried to start a fire in the bathroom. He has since been arrested and charged with criminal mischief and arson.
