New road closures in the Prospect Mountain construction project will impact travel for drivers beginning today, weather permitting. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that pavement repairs and sign structure work will begin in the town of Dickinson and the city of Binghamton.
Today through Wednesday…The right two lanes of Route 17 eastbound between the Airport Road exit and the Front St. exit will be closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Today through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Prospect St. will have periodic alternating lane closures between Mygatt St. and Front St.
And there will be additional closures in the area starting tomorrow and Wednesday.
