An Endicott man was arrested earlier this week on multiple charges after police said he fled from a hit and run accident. Gerald Gaylord was arrested after an investigation by the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Gaylord fled the scene after the accident but were able to locate Gaylord’s vehicle which had damage that was consistent with the accident. Gaylord was confronted by a deputy, at which point the Sheriff’s Office said he became physically combative and resisted arrest. The defendant was arraigned in the Town of Owego Court, taken to the Tioga County Jail, and is scheduled to reappear in Owego Court on April 30th.
