A woman crashed through the front of a Vestal Parkway East clothing store Saturday afternoon. The Vestal Police Department responded to the scene after reports of a car traveling into the front of Chico’s. Vestal Police said that a woman hit the gas pedal instead of the brake in front of the store. Her car then went completely into the building. Officers said no one was hurt in the crash. The Vestal Fire Department and an ambulance were called to the scene, as well as code enforcement to check on building safety. Vestal Police confirmed that the building is still structurally sound.
