The New York State Department of Transportation will perform construction work requiring lane closures at various locations within the Prospect Mountain construction project in the City of Binghamton and the Town Dickinson. Each lane closure in the area on Rt 17 and I-81 will occur today through Friday from 9 to 3 weather permitting. Motorists are advised to be alert for slow moving traffic and sudden stops.
