A parade and remembrance ceremony was held yesterday in Owego, in honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. There are 170 names of fallen soldiers engraved on the Tioga County Veteran’s Memorial, where the ceremony was held. All are from Tioga County. Memorial Day ceremonies have been held in Owego for 124 years. Memorial Day observances also took place in Vestal, Johnson City, Endicott, and Binghamton yesterday.
