Crews were called to a fire last night at a home on Pearl St. in the Town of Union. When crews arrived at the scene just before 10 pm., the fire was fully involved with flames shooting through the roof. The power lines came down around the house, making it more difficult to fight the fire. The house will most likely be a total loss. About 30 firefighters from the Endwell, Union Center, and Vestal fire departments fought the flames. Two adults, a child and a dog were able to get out of the building safely. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
