One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Elmira Monday. According to the Elmira Police Department, around 5:23 pm. officers responded to the 1200 block of Hall Street for a report of gunshots. The victim was seen by witnesses walking in the area of Hall Street and Division Street. Upon officers’ arrival, that person had already been taken to Arnot Ogden Hospital by a passerby. Officers investigated at the scene and others went to the hospital to interview the victim. The victim was not cooperative with the investigation.
