The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrested a Binghamton man Monday night after executing a search warrant at a hotel in the city. The search took place at the Travel Hotel at 65 Front Street. Frederick Patterson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. Investigators found 101 bags of heroin and over 1,300 dollars of suspected drug sale proceeds inside of the room. Patterson was arraigned and taken to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office without bail.
