The congregation of Grace Lutheran Church has found a temporary place of worship– after a May 18th electrical fire decimated their nearly 60-year-old building on Main Street in Vestal. Memorial Park Baptist Church on Front Street in Vestal will share its space with Grace Lutheran members for the foreseeable future. The two parishes are staggering their masses to accommodate both Lutheran and Baptist services. Grace Lutheran’s service will be held at 9 a.m. on Sundays. There would eventually be a cost-sharing agreement between the churches, but Grace Lutheran will be welcome to worship at the location for as long as any rebuilding efforts might take.
