An Endicott woman was killed and a man was arrested after a fatal accident in Marathon on Saturday. Christopher Tanner of Marathon was driving northbound on Route 11 when he crossed the center of the roadway and entered the southbound lane. Police said Tanner struck a motorcycle being operated by Shanon Nasoni of Endicott. Nasoni was airlifted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, where she was later pronounced dead. Police said Tanner was intoxicated at the scene, and his blood alcohol content was determined to be .21. Tanner was charged with vehicular manslaughter in the first degree and aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was arraigned in the Town of Marathon Court and is being held at the Cortland County Jail without bail.
