The public swimming pool at Highland Park in Endwell has been temporarily shut down by the Broome County Health Department. The closing of the pool is the result of someone throwing glass into the pool area last week. It happened during the overnight hours. They hope the pool can be reopened by the end of the week, but did not set an exact date. Updates will be posted on the Town of Union website townofunion.com.
