With Owego Elementary students moving to their newly built school in Owego following the holiday break, the Union-Endicott school district is already making plans to repurpose their Linnaeus W. West Elementary facility. Union-Endicott is looking to turn the facility on Union Center Maine Highway into an alternative high school, a school for special education students, and a business incubator. Union-Endicott has applied for a $10 million grant to repurpose this facility but says it will go through with repurposing even if the grant is not awarded.
