The Village of Waverly has just been awarded $300,000 to revitalize the Broad Street area. The money comes as a grant through the New York Main Street program. Owego and Nichols both have received money through this program in years prior. Waverly has applied for the grant the past three years, however, was previously denied. The funding will only affect Broad Street between Fulton Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
