Senator Fred Akshar has recently been appointed to the legislative Task Force on Heroin and Opioid Addiction. Senate Majority Leader, John Flanagan, cited Akshar’s years in law enforcement as invaluable to the committee. In addition to serving on this task force, Akshar is also a member of numerous other committees, including as Chairmen of the Elections Committee.
