A winter weather advisory has been issued for the Southern Tier for tonight and tomorrow. A mix of snow and freezing rain will move into our area this evening, making for a potentially slippery commute home. We could see a few inches of snow and some ice overnight. The mix is expected to change over to all rain tomorrow, with periods of heavy rain possible. The weather service says the rain and fresh snow could lead to some minor flooding.
