CTRAN will be adding an additional stop in Owego. Riders can now make a stop at the Tioga County Health and Human Services Building on Route 38 in Owego. The bus service out of Chemung County added routes in Tioga County after the Ride Tioga bus service was discontinued last year. The Health and Human Services Building houses a public health clinic, Workforce NY offices, Access VR, and Mental Health Services among other things. The CTRAN busses will start making this additional stop in April and continue to do so through December. An evaluation of ridership is expected to be conducted later this year to determine if the stop will be made permanent.
