A Monroeton man has been arrested after authorities were notified of a booby-trapped recreational vehicle. Authorities arrested 27-year-old James Taylor after a neighbor went to see if Taylor had borrowed a tool of his. When the neighbor walked around Taylor’s recreational vehicle, he noticed that there was a shotgun in the front seat, with a string tied between the gun’s trigger and the driver’s side door. Taylor was later taken to the state police barracks in North Towanda where he was asked about a facial injury. He told authorities that it was the result of a failed attempt to fill a propane tank with black powder and a fuse. Taylor has since been sent to the Bradford County Jail.
