First responders worked for nearly an hour and a half to remove an individual entrapped in a vehicle, following a two-car crash on US Route 220 South in Athens. The accident occurred at around 4:40PM yesterday after one vehicle is said to have crossed into the path of another. Both cars then collided and slid about 300 yards. Authorities say that charges are pending for both drivers. Both drivers were also taken to Robert Packer Hospital for unknown injuries.
