The Village of Waverly has approved its annual budget at last night’s board of trustees meeting. A slight increase of about 1% in the Village’s general budget has lead to an increase of about 2.3% in property taxes. Water and sewer rates are also set to increase as a result of this recently adopted budget. The price per 100 cubic feet of sewage is set to increase about $0.40. The cost of 100 cubic feet of water will increase by $0.11.
