Athens Area High School Seniors are still set to graduate on June 3rd, despite days missed as the result of a teacher strike last week. Seniors WILL have to attend classes on three Saturdays however. Exact dates and lesson plans for these Saturday school days have yet to be finalized. Classes for students in Kindergarten through 11th grade will have to be extended until June 9th. Teachers in Athens went on strike after working without a teacher contract since 2013.
