Funeral services have been scheduled for longtime State Senator Tom Libous. Libous passed away Tuesday after a seven-year battle with cancer at the age of 63. The Libous family will receive friends and relatives at Church of The Holy Family, located at 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell, on Friday, May 6 from 1 to 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, also at the church. Libous spent the last days of his life in hospice care at The Mercy House. At the request of Libous, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Mercy House at 212 North McKinley Avenue, in Endicott, 13760.
