JCPD Officer Cioci revieves award from Pres. Barack Obama

Johnson City Police Officer Lou Cioci is in Washington D.C. today to be awarded by President Barack Obama. Cioci is being awarded the Congressional Medal of Valor. This honor is being bestowed upon Cioci after his actions which stopped the man who shot Patrolman David Smith near Wilson Hospital in March of 2014. The Congressional Medal of Valor is the highest national honor given to public safety officers.
