The Owego-Apalachin School District Board of Education has chosen a new superintendent to take over later this year. Corey Green currently serves as an assistant superintendent in the Sidney School District. Prior to that, he also served as an elementary/middle school principal in Sidney from 2007 to 2011. Green also worked as both a physical education and elementary school teacher for Binghamton City Schools from 2000 to 2007. He holds both a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the College of St. Rose and a master’s degree in literacy from Walden University.
Corey Green will be taking over for current OA Superintendent Dr. Bill Russell after Dr. Russell officially retires on June 30th.
