The Sayre Area School District and Sayre Area Education Association might soon agree on the details of educator contracts. A school board meeting has been scheduled for Monday at 7pm to vote on a collective bargaining agreement which will be retroactive to July of 2013. The agreement will also continue through June of 2019. The Sayre Area Education Association will also vote on the agreement on Monday. Neither party is releasing the details of the contract prior to the meeting. The meeting is being held at H. Austin Snyder Elementary School at 7pm on Monday. The public is welcome to attend.
