Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in West Corners yesterday afternoon. The fire damaged a large portion of the rear of the home on Leon Drive. Yesterday’s heat made battling the blaze difficult for firefighters. Add to that, strong winds which fueled the flames. Fire officials say that no one was injured in the blaze and the investigation is ongoing. Fire crews from West Corners, Union Center, Endicott, and Vestal all responded.
