After surveying storm damage, the US National Weather Service out of Binghamton has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado did briefly touchdown in Monroeton. Pennsylvania. The tornado occurred during Monday afternoon’s line of thunderstorms. The tornado caused tree damage during its short time on the ground.
Straight-line winds caused structure damage in the Monroeton area on Monday as they reached speeds of about 100MPH.
