Endicott residents are concerned about contaminants being released into their drinking water by I-3 electronics. The concern has grown after the electronics company has applied for a permit renewal to continue disposing its wastewater into the Susquehanna River. The wastewater goes through an extensive treatment process before discharge, however, concerned residents say that the process is still dangerous. A public hearing on the issue has been scheduled for September 13th.
