Numerous fire departments from across Bradford County responded to a fire at the Sayre Elks Lodge yesterday afternoon. The fire is said to have destroyed the Kitchen area of the Lodge and caused smoke damage throughout a majority of the rest of the building. Fire Departments across Bradford County were called to the scene. The Waverly Fire Department in Tioga County was also called to the scene. No injuries have been reported.
