Two Elmira men have been arrested in North Carolina after being found with more than $150,000 worth of narcotics. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Department arrested 26-year-old Anthony Prettyman and 26-year-old Cory Laurenson yesterday following a traffic stop. Sheriff’s deputies pulled the men over for traffic violations and found marijuana inside the glove box of their vehicle. A further search discovered 5,300 Oxycontin pills inside the false bottom of a paint can and more than $2,000 in cash. The sheriff’s department says the pills are worth more than $160,000 on the street. The men are facing felony drug trafficking charges and were sent to the county jail on $2 million bond.
