The Syracuse men’s basketball team reached 100 points last night for the first time since 2012 in a win over South Carolina State. The Orange beat the Bulldogs 101-59 at the Carrier Dome in the next game of the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational. Six different Syracuse players scored more than 10 points, including Andrew White, John Gillon, Tyler Lydon, Tyler Roberson, Taurean Thompson and Frank Howard. Syracuse will end the invitational against South Carolina at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn Saturday. The game will not be heard on WEBO, as the Syracuse football team will play at Pitt at 12:30pm Saturday. The Orange are looking to beat the Panthers and be invited to a bowl game.
