Newark Valley’s 11th annual Holiday Magic community celebration is this Friday and Saturday. Friday evening will be an adults-only Holiday Magic kick-off open house at the Depot. Then on Saturday, the festivities will resume with a parade honoring the Newark Valley Cardinals Class C State football Champions and cheerleaders. The parade will depart from the Newark Valley School District bus garage and end in front of the Newark Valley Post Office. Newark Valley Holiday Magic will continue through 8 o’clock on Saturday with various activities, games, music, and more for the entire family to enjoy. These activities will be occurring in the former train Depot, the Noble Room of the Newark Valley Post Office, and the Tappan-Spaulding Memorial Library simultaneously.
