A man was killed in Trumansburg early Saturday after an alleged robbery. 35-year-old Patrick Mutter of Brewertown was found dead at 1:45am Saturday inside a home in the village. The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office says Mutter forced his way into the residence and was stabbed to death by the homeowner. Two other people, 27-year-old Jennifer Ecker and 32-year-old Gregory Fish of Trumansburg, are facing attempted burglary charges. They are accused of helping Mutter break into the residence. The homeowner has not been identified or charged. The sheriff’s office is still investigating.
